Exploring Harm Reduction Solutions to Iowa’s Opioid, Meth, and Hepatitis C Crises

 

Stakeholders and professionals from law enforcement, public health, drug control, and health care, as well as legislators and experts in infectious disease and substance use disorder prevention and treatment are invited by the University of Iowa Colleges of Health Sciences to a one day summit on the injection drug use and hepatitis C crises in our state. Through this day long session, speakers and attendees will explore evidence-based opportunities for prevention of disease and addiction, focusing on comprehensive syringe service programs.
